PenCom issues ultimatum to employers to file remittance documentation

The National Pension Commission stated sanctions await employers who fail to file full remittance documentation of their workers earlier than December 31, 2023.

PenCom disclosed this in a doc on Wednesday despatched to involved employers and workers.

The Commission requested employers with incomplete remittance documentation of their workers to right the anomaly by way of their Pension Fund Administrators, PFAs, on or earlier than December 31, 2023.

Accordingly, Media Talk Africa learnt that over 100,000 workers have been stated to be affected by this growth.

“Please note that the Commission shall take appropriate regulatory actions against employers who fail to comply with this directive by December 31, 2023, in line with the provisions of the PRA 2014,” the doc reads.
