Drivers and passengers plying the Effurun/Ughelli part of the East-West road resulting in Ughelli in Delta State have lamented the deplorable state of the road by the Effurun roundabout in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

They mentioned they spend hours on a journey from Effurun roundabout to Ughelli, a journey of no more than half-hour if the circumstances have been proper.

In a chat with Media Talk Africa, a driver, merely recognized as Solomon, complained that his Toyota Picnic had been at a mechanic workshop for over per week. He added that his household struggles to feed because the car is his supply of livelihood. He expressed worry that the identical destiny might repeat itself if he plies the road once more together with his car, explaining that he spent over N35,000 in repairs.
