Transfer: Flying Eagles defender set to join Brentford on loan

Flying Eagles defender Benjamin Frederick is set to link up with Premier League club Brentford on loan.

Brentford will have the option to make the move permanent.

Frederick will join the Bees from Kaduna-based Simoiben FC.

The 18-year-old will need to file for a United Kingdom work visa to be able to play for the Bees.

The talented centre-back was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Frederick was linked to several clubs in Europe following his impressive displays in both competitions.
