Sporting Lagos boss elated with quality of new players

Sporting Lagos head coach, Paul Offor is happy with the quality of new players signed by the club.

Sporting Lagos will be making their maiden appearance in the NPFL this season.

The newly promoted NPFL side have in their ranks for the new season, former NPFL top scorer, Junior Lokosa, Ekene Olisema and Sudanese-born midfielder, Joseph Loro, among others.

Offor said players’ recruitment was based on quality.

“We have made sure to keep our key players and brought in quality players with character.

“We are building a team in the image of the owner,” he told the media.

Sporting Lagos will host Gombe United in their matchday one tie at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on September 16.
