President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Khalil Suleiman Halilu as the new Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).
This was made known in a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Ajuri Ngelale.
The Statement stated that Mr Khalil Suleiman Halilu will serve for an initial term of five years by the relevant sections of the NASENI Act, 2014.

It also added that the 32-year-old newly appointed NASENI EVC is expected to bring his significant experience as an innovator and technology expert to bear in the important new national assignment.
The statement further disclosed that the tenure of Dr. Bashir Gwandu as EVC/CEO of NASENI has been terminated.
The Statement added that by the directive of the President, the appointment of Khalil Suleiman Halilu takes immediate effect.
