Boniface keen to replicate club form with Super Eagles

Victor Boniface has revealed his desire to replicate his club form with the Super Eagles.

Boniface recently earned his invitation to the Super Eagles after his impressive displays for Union St Gilloise and Bayer Leverkusen.

The 22-year-old was joint top scorer in the UEFA Europa League last season.

The striker transferred to Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen this summer and has been in excellent form for Die Werkself.

Boniface has scored four goals and provided one assist in four appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side.

”It’s good to be here with the national team, I have enjoyed my stay with the boys so far,” Boniface told the media in Uyo.

“I hope I will be able to score regularly for the Super Eagles as I have done for my club.”

Boniface will look to make his debut for the Super Eagles against Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday.
