Akeredolu’s return, testament to strength, resilience – Interior Minister, Tunji-Ojo

Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has described the return of Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, to the country as a testament to his strength and resilience in serving the people of the state.

While hailing the governor for his ability to overcome adversity and resume his duties immediately, Tunji-Ojo, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alao Babatunde, at the weekend, stated that Akeredolu’s return signposts proof of God’s faithfulness.

According to him, the hopes of the people of the state were fulfilled when the news of the governor’s return was heard.

“The return of their beloved governor has brought immense joy and gratitude to the people of Ondo State, who have eagerly awaited his arrival.

“We are delighted to see you back in good health, and your unwavering commitment to the well-being and progress of Ondo State has been a tremendous inspiration to us all.

“Your invaluable leadership and dedication to the people of Ondo State fill us with hope for the continued development and prosperity of our state under your guidance.

“As you officially resume your duties, we pray that our state witnesses even greater development under your watch.

After concluding a three-month medical leave in Germany, Governor Akeredolu arrived in the country last week Thursday.

On Friday, he met with his cabinet members, legislators, and various political groups in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
