2023 AFCONQ: Sports minister charges Super Eagles to repeat first leg win against Sao Tome

Nigeria’s sports minister, John Enoh has tasked the Super Eagles to replicate their first leg victory against Sao Tome and Principe.

The Super Eagles pummeled Adriano Eusebio’s side 10-0 when both teams met in June 2022.

Nigeria will host the True Patriots in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday (today).

Enoh charged the Super Eagles to go for another big win against Sao Tome and Principe.

“The game against Sao Tome is going to be my first engagement as Minister of Sports and if you can beat them the way you did in the first leg how much more here in Uyo and how much more a welcome gift to me,” Enoh said during his visit to the team’s hotel on Saturday night.

The game will kick-off at 5pm.
