Police declare ‘2-Baba’ wanted over murder of Rivers DPO

The Nigeria Police has declared one Gift, David Okpara, popularly known as 2-Baba, wanted over the gruesome murder of the late Ahoada Divisional Police Officer, Bako Angbashim, in Rivers State.

Media Talk Africa reports that the DPO was murdered by the suspect and other members of his gang last Friday last week during an operation in the area.

The state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara had announced a N100 million bounty on the prime suspect and members of his gang.

Similarly, the state police command, in a post on its official X platform on Wednesday, declared the suspect wanted for “conspiracy, cultism and murder.

“The Nigeria Police Force has declared one Gift David Opara aka (2baba) wanted for the below offences, 101 million naira bounty has been placed on him by the Rivers State Gov and The NPF.

“Give us info and cash out from us,” the post added.
