‘He was one of Nigeria’s greatest artists’ – Shehu Sani mourns Mohbad

Shehu Sani, a socio-political commentator, has mourned the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad who died on Tuesday, September 10, 2023.

Media Talk Africa reports that Mohbad passed away at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances, and was buried on Wednesday in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Mourning the singer via his verified X handle on Thursday, Sani described him as one of Nigeria’s greatest cultural ambassadors.

The former Kaduna Central Senator wrote, “Mohbad was one of the nation’s greatest artistic ambassadors. Adieu.”
