FIRS: It’s recognition of your contributions to national growth – Alli tells Adedeji

Chairman, Senate Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has described the appointment of Zacchaeus Adedeji, as Acting Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) as recognition of his (Adedeji) immense contributions towards national growth and development.

Alli, who currently represents Oyo South at the National Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made this disclosure on Thursday.

Media Talk Africa recalls that President Bola Tinubu on Thursday announced the appointment of Adedeji.

In a statement, Alli personally declared that Adedeji possessed the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to steer the affairs of FIRS.

He said, “This appointment is not just a testament to his outstanding track record in public service but also a recognition of his immense contributions towards national growth and development.”
