Ufere joins Sporting Lagos from Doma United

Sporting Lagos have secured the signing of Chinedu Ufere from Doma United.

Ufere signed a one-year contract with the newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League side.

The energetic midfielder revealed that the club’s supporters played a key role in his decision to join Paul Offor’s side.

“I remember watching the team at the Naija Super 8, and I said to myself, ‘Wow, this support is massive’,” he told the club’s official website.

“The fans support influenced my decision to come here, I can’t wait to get started.”

Ufere has been assigned the number 8 jersey ahead of the 2023-24 NPFL season.

He joined Sporting Lagos with vast experience, having previously played for Kwara United, Lobi Stars and Niger Tornadoes.
