In a candid interview with Echoo Room, sensational singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, recently opened up about his personal battle with pornography addiction that spanned several years.
Spyro, known for his hit song ‘Who’s Your Guy,’ addressed the speculations surrounding his criticism of fellow musicians’ lifestyles, clarifying that his intention is not to preach about holiness in the secular music industry. He believes, however, that artists can still thrive financially by creating moral music.
Surprisingly, the artist revealed, “I struggled with pornography for years. I’m not claiming to be a saint. I, too, go through these struggles. I stand among you all and admit that I’m not holy. Nobody is perfect.”
Spyro emphasized that his aim is not to impose his beliefs on others. He stressed, “I’m just a human being, dealing with the same experiences as you. But I urge everyone to strive for the best version of themselves.”
It is worth noting that Spyro recently sparked controversy when he appeared on a podcast interview and seemed to insinuate that his colleague Shallipopi’s music resonates with individuals involved in fraudulent activities.
