PDP Commends Tribunal Rulings on Gubernatorial Elections in Enugu and Bauchi

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed its satisfaction with the recent verdicts delivered by the gubernatorial election petition tribunals in Enugu and Bauchi states.

On Wednesday, the tribunal in Bauchi State dismissed a petition lodged by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Sadique Abubakar, and instead upheld the victory of Governor Bala Mohammed of the PDP.

In a similar vein, the tribunal in Enugu State on Thursday confirmed the election of Governor Peter Mbah of the PDP, rejecting the petition filed by Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party (LP).

The PDP, in response to these judgments, conveyed its congratulations to the two governors, praising the outcomes as commendable.

According to the leading opposition party, the verdicts reflect the public’s trust in the PDP’s leadership in Enugu and Bauchi states.

In a statement, the PDP expressed, “The verdicts delivered by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunals in Bauchi and Enugu States, upholding our party’s victories in both states, are highly deserving of commendation. These judgments are a testament to the people’s unwavering confidence in our great party in Bauchi and Enugu states, as well as across Nigeria. Congratulations.”
