Pep Guardiola Touted as Future Coach for Argentina, says Sergio Aguero

Former Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero has expressed his desire to see Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola take charge of the Argentina national team in the near future. Aguero, who played under Guardiola during his time at Man City, believes that the Spaniard’s appointment would bring great joy to the country.

Having achieved immense success in club football, Pep Guardiola is widely regarded as one of the finest coaches in the sport. Aguero shared his thoughts on the matter in an interview with Stake (reported via GOAL). When asked about the possibility of Guardiola coaching the Argentine football team, Aguero replied, “Obviously, as an Argentinian, it would be really good if he could be the Argentina national coach but well, I don’t know. And, obviously, nowadays, as I’m an ex-player and looking at it as a fan of the national team, I think that obviously, everyone would be happy, right?”
