An esteemed human rights advocacy group, Save the Poor and Needy Charity Initiative (SPANCI), has called upon the Federal Government and security agencies to take immediate action by confiscating properties and freezing bank accounts linked to Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Samson Erinfolabi Balogun, also known as Sam Larry. The allegations stem from their suspected involvement in the unfortunate demise of Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, famously known as Mohbad.
In addition, SPANCI advises that Naira Marley and Sam Larry be declared as wanted individuals.
Tragically, Mohbad passed away last week under obscure circumstances.
Comrade Yemi Bello, the President of the organization, made an urgent plea in a statement released on Friday to Media Talk Africa. He implored the government to take swift action, particularly due to reports that Sam Larry, who is believed to be currently residing outside of Nigeria, had reportedly threatened Iyabo Ojo, a popular Nollywood actress advocating for justice in the case of Mohbad’s death.
“We beseech the federal government to seize their properties, freeze their bank accounts, and conduct a thorough investigation into the origin of their assets and wealth. We call upon the government of the countries in which they are suspected to be residing to immediately deport them in order to establish their innocence,” he stated.
