EPL: Arteta Confirms Player Absence, Discusses Raya and Ramsdale for Tottenham Clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has officially confirmed that midfielder Thomas Partey will not be available for the highly anticipated Premier League derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

In addition, Arteta revealed that he is still undecided on whether David Raya or Aaron Ramsdale will start as the goalkeeper for Arsenal in the crucial match against Tottenham.

After a convincing 4-0 victory against PSV in the Champions League, Arsenal is in high spirits as they prepare for the upcoming clash.

During his pre-match press conference on Friday, Arteta stated, “We are still assessing Gaby [Martinelli] and we will see if he is fit enough to play in the game.”

He continued, “Thomas is definitely out. As for the rest of the players, we expect them to be available. We have two more training sessions and so far, there haven’t been any major issues this week.”

When asked about his choice between Raya and Ramsdale, Arteta replied, “No, I have not made a decision yet.”

The highly anticipated match between Arsenal and Tottenham will be held at Emirates Stadium with a kick-off time of 2 pm.
