Tragedy Strikes as 80-Year-Old Man Mysteriously Perishes in Kano Well

An 80-year-old man, Malam Rabiu, popularly known as Na Allah Siraka, met a harrowing fate when he tragically lost his life in a well located in Sabon Sara, Gidan Aminu Ado, in the Gwale Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State.

This poignant incident was revealed in a statement released to the press by Saminu Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Fire Service, on Sunday in Kano.

Mr. Abdullahi commented that this heart-wrenching occurrence took place on Sunday morning.

“We received an urgent distress call at around 11:00 a.m from Hassan Abduallhi, who reported that an elderly man had become trapped inside a well.

“Without a moment’s delay, our dexterous rescue team was swiftly deployed to the scene at approximately 11:07 a.m,” he added.

According to Mr. Abdullahi, Malam Rabiu resided alone in his humble abode.

“Regrettably, the valiant efforts of our fire service rescue team were in vain, as they somberly retrieved Rabiu’s lifeless body from the well,” he somberly announced.

He further conveyed that the deceased had been handed over to Muhammad Salisu-Iman, the Ward Head of Sabon Sara.

Mr. Abdullahi concluded by stating that investigations were presently underway to ascertain the cause of this fateful incident.
