Abia Warriors to Conduct Player Screening for Youth Team: Building for the Future

Abia Warriors, the renowned Nigeria Premier Football League side, is set to embark on an exciting initiative to identify and nurture young talent for their U-19 team.

The screening exercise will take place at the prestigious Evangal High School pitch, located in Old Umuahia, with sessions commencing daily at 8 a.m.

Spanning three days, from September 27th to September 30th, the program aligns with the long-term vision of the Ochendo Boys management to establish a robust developmental team to shape the club’s prosperous future.

The selected players from the screening process will have the opportunity to integrate into the esteemed youth team set-up.

Under the watchful eye of the club chairman, John Obuh, the youth team coaches will diligently oversee and manage the screening process, ensuring a thorough evaluation of the aspiring football stars.
