Turkey: Onuachu Inspires Trabzonspor but Hatayaspor Seals Victory in Thrilling Encounter

Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu, continued his impressive form by scoring his second goal in as many games for Trabzonspor, but it was not enough to secure victory as they fell 3-2 to Hatayaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday night.

Onuachu, who marked his debut for Trabzonspor with a goal in their 3-0 victory over Besiktas last week, unfortunately had to leave the field due to injury early in the second half.

However, the 29-year-old made his presence felt once again by finding the net for Trabzonspor’s second goal in an intense battle against Hatayaspor at the Mersin Stadyumu.

The hosts, showing great determination, fought back and ultimately claimed victory in the exciting contest.

In a further display of Nigerian talent, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru emerged as the hero for Hatayaspor, scoring the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game.
