As a testament to his commitment, the Deputy Senate President extended an invitation to one member of the Senate Press Corps to serve as one of his appointed aides in his office, ensuring easy access for accurate and balanced reporting.
Senator Barau expressed his gratitude to the journalists for their support during his pursuit of the Senate presidency in the 10th National Assembly. Although he eventually settled for the position of Deputy Senate President, he acknowledged the significant contribution of the Senate Press Corps in projecting his aspirations during the election period.
