Scottish Premiership: Rangers Manager Calls for More from Dessers following Motherwell Goal

Rangers manager Michael Beale has challenged Cyriel Dessers to deliver consistently after his decisive goal secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Motherwell.

Dessers, the Super Eagles star, has faced heavy criticism from fans and pundits since joining Ibrox Stadium. However, his winning goal in the 27th minute provided some respite for the striker.

Despite the success, Beale wants Dessers and the entire team to continue raising the bar.

Speaking to Rangers TV, Beale praised the goal, saying, “It was a well-executed play that we have been working on. The combination play leading up to the goal was exceptional, showcasing the true potential of the players involved.”

However, Beale emphasized the need for more from the squad, adding, “While I appreciate the win, our focus should be on continuous improvement. Complacency is not an option.”

Since his move from Italian club Cremonese in the summer, Dessers has scored three goals for the Gers. The Nigerian international will be eager to build on his recent success and cement his place in the team.
