Brentford Football Club has revealed the price tag for their prolific striker, Ivan Toney, amidst growing interest from top Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea.
In a strategic move, The Bees are aiming to ignite a fierce bidding war between Arsenal and Chelsea for Toney’s services ahead of the highly anticipated January transfer window.
Toney, who has recently been serving an eight-month ban due to a breach of betting regulations, will become eligible to make his highly-anticipated competitive return in the forthcoming New Year.
Despite his suspension, the Evening Standard reports that Brentford is prepared to entertain offers for Toney and has set a valuation of no less than £80 million for their star attacker.
Prior to his suspension, the 27-year-old forward made a significant impact, earning a place in England manager Gareth Southgate’s squad.
