El-Kanemi Warriors have officially announced the acquisition of 15 talented players as they gear up for the highly anticipated 2023-24 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The newly recruited players are: Sani Sheu, Usman Abbas, Abine George, Samaila Bello, Bright Evaghera, Usman Ahmed, Gimba Ajiji, Shuaibu Garba, Mohammed Dantala, Alabi Sulaiman, Chisom, Ibrahim Grema, AAbu Ali, Mohammed Bulama, and Absulmumin Ali.

All of the newly signed players have committed to a one-year contract with the Aliyu Zubairu-led squad.

The grand unveiling ceremony took place at the club’s secretariat in the vibrant city of Maiduguri.

Alhaji Bura Mustapha, Secretary of the prestigious Borno Army, delivered an enlightening speech, emphasizing the challenges that lie ahead for the team in the upcoming NNL season.

Following an underwhelming performance in the 2022-23 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season, El-Kanemi Warriors unfortunately suffered relegation from the top-flight league.
