Nasarawa Polytechnic Bans Students from Post-Exam Celebrations

The management of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, located in Lafia, Nasarawa State, has recently issued a ban on after-exam sign-out celebrations for graduating students. This ban extends to both on-campus events and any gatherings beyond the polytechnic’s main gate.

The ban was officially announced through a circular signed by the school’s esteemed Public Relations Officer, Ali Hassan Mohammed. The circular emphasized the immediate effect of this ban and stated that it will remain in place until further notice. In order to ensure compliance, the polytechnic has implemented strict security measures on its premises.

The decision to enforce this ban was reached during an emergency management meeting held at the institution. The management expressed deep concerns over the reckless behavior exhibited by students during after-exam sign-out celebrations, both within and outside the polytechnic’s premises.

Furthermore, the management’s circular sternly warned that any student found violating this ban would be subjected to expulsion from the institution. It is evident that the polytechnic is taking strict disciplinary measures to maintain order and discipline amongst its student body.
