The Northern Media Forum extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr Mohammed Idris on his appointment as Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation. Deliberately delaying their message, the Forum allowed the flood of congratulatory messages to run its course before expressing their appreciation.
In a statement, the Chairman of the Forum, Dan Agbese, conveyed their sentiments, saying, “Now that you have settled down in your new office, it is time for me, on behalf of the Northern Media Forum, to add our droplets to that flood and formally convey how truly honoured we are that one of our own has been entrusted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the crucial task of managing the image of his administration as the Minister of Information and National Orientation.”
The statement further emphasised the President’s discernment in choosing Mr Idris, recognizing that no better choice could have been made. The Forum expressed great pride in their association with him and extended their warmest congratulations.
Having been a valuable member of the Northern Media Forum since its inception, the statement urged the Minister to remember that he is their ambassador in the Tinubu administration.
