Otti’s Aide Denies Resignation, Calls Out False News

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Alex Otti on homeland security, Chukwunenye Nwaogu Alajemba, has vehemently denied the trending news reports claiming that he had resigned his appointment.

In a statement released on Saturday, Alajemba discredited the report as an attempt by a publisher to create problems between him and Governor Otti, as well as to misinform the people of Abia State.

The news of Alajemba’s alleged resignation circulated on social media platforms on Saturday morning, with the Special Assistant being accused of resigning immediately, citing the governor’s alleged autocratic style of governance as the reason behind his decision.

However, in a swift response to the press, the Senior Special Assistant refuted the news, describing it as ridiculous and baseless. He reaffirmed his loyalty to Governor Alex Otti, emphasizing that Otti remains his boss, friend, and sincere leader.

“I want to categorically disassociate myself from this claim as it has absolutely nothing to do with me. The Governor of Abia State is a genuine leader who has graciously mentored me, and he continues to selflessly serve Abia State and Nigeria with utmost dedication, patriotism, and transparency.”

“I want to make it unequivocally clear that all claims in those posts are false and nonsensical. They do not reflect the strong bond and wonderful relationship that I continue to share with my boss, father, and friend, Governor Alex Otti.”

Alajemba further condemned the publisher of the false news as a shameless mischief-maker who has no knowledge of his personal life. He pointed out that the publisher even wrongly identified the country of his residence, indicating a lack of credibility.

Expressing his disdain for the fake news of his resignation, Alajemba urged the people of Abia State to disregard such reports, highlighting that they were intended to tarnish the reputation of Governor Alex Otti and himself.

The Senior Special Assistant concluded by stating his imminent return to Nigeria to fulfill his duties on behalf of Governor Otti and the people of Abia State.
