CAF Confederation Cup: Algerian Referees Appointed for Rivers United vs Etoile Filante Clash

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of Algerian referee, Gamouh Youcef, to officiate the CAF Confederation Cup return leg match between Rivers United and Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso.

The highly anticipated match will take place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Kick-off time for the game is scheduled for 4pm.

Youcef will be joined by his compatriots, Adel Abane as Assistant Referee 1 and Hamza Bouzit as Assistant Referee 2.

Adding to the officiating team, fourth official duties will be handled by another Algerian, Houssam Benyahia, while Munkaila Nassam Adam from Ghana will serve as the match commissioner.

The initial leg of the fixture ended in a goalless draw at the Stade Municipal Stadium in Yamoussoukro.

The team that emerges victorious from this two-legged encounter will secure a place in the group stage of the competition.
