Paul Merson Criticizes Manchester United Players for Lackluster Performance Against Crystal Palace

Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, did not hold back in his scathing assessment of three Manchester United players following their dismal performance against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Merson singled out Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Mason Mount, claiming that their display in the midfield was nothing short of clueless.

It was Joachim Andersen’s goal that sealed Palace’s victory over Erik ten Hag’s side at the iconic Old Trafford.

“It is hard for him,” Merson expressed his sympathy for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s midfielder, Fredrik Hojlund. “He doesn’t get a lot of service. You’ve got Mount, Casemiro, and Fernandes. And they don’t really know where they are going. They don’t know where they’re playing,” Merson stated in his analysis on Sky Sports.

He further added, “I just find that Mount and Fernandes look a bit lost. They don’t know where they’ve got to go. They are getting dominated, and they are getting passed around.”
