Ex-Taraba deputy governor urges opposition politicians to support Kefas

A former deputy governor of Taraba State, Senator Haruna Manu, has urged politicians in opposition political events to be a part of fingers with Governor Agbu Kefas to transfer the state to larger heights.

Manu said this on Tuesday in a press assertion made out there to journalists in Jalingo, whereas facilitating with the governor over his victory within the governorship election petition tribunal.

The governor, it might be recalled, just lately emerged victorious on the tribunal following the dismissal of the petition filed in opposition to his election by the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, candidate, Sani Yahaya.

Manu, within the assertion, particularly known as on the NNPP to be a part of fingers with the governor to work for the fast progress of the state.

He equally urged the governor to use his tribunal victory to rally spherical all politicians within the state, no matter their inclination, for the betterment of the folks.

“The governor’s victory at the tribunal has affirmed the massive support he received from the people of Taraba State during the March 18th 2023 governorship election,” he added.

Manu, who’s the incumbent Senator representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, believed that the governor had already began justifying the belief and the support he obtained from his folks by bringing developmental initiatives within the state.
