Famous Nollywood actress turned politician Tonto Dikeh has alleged that Marlian Record boss, Naira Marley has highly effective political allies behind him.
The actress acknowledged this whereas reacting to Naira Marley’s tweet after his arrest by the police on Tuesday night following the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the demise of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly often known as Mohbad.
Media Talk Africa remembers that the Lagos Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, on X on Tuesday night time confirmed that Naira Marley had been arrested shortly after his return to Nigeria.
Also, a couple of minutes later, Naira Marley wrote in a publish on his X: “I would like to share that I have just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria, to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation.
“It’s important I do my part for Imole. I will be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
However, in a broadly circulated video on social media, the singer was captured being guarded on the airport earlier than touchdown in police custody.
Reacting to this on her Instagram web page, Tonto Dikeh acknowledged that in a simply society, Naira Marley could be in handcuffs and never busy tweeting about his return on his telephone.
Analysing the singer’s confidence in police custody, Tonto mentioned: “Look who has come back to NIGERIA to assist the police investigate why he and Sam Larry tortured Mohbad.
“I ask again who are those protecting Naira Marley? In the right country, he should be in handcuffs and chains, rather than having a phone to tweet.
“Naira Marley’s confidence looks to me like he has some top political underdogs by his side.”
Media Talk Africa studies that following the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s demise, Naira Marley and his affiliate, Sam Larry, had been accused of getting a hand in Mohbad’s tragic demise after a sequence of paperwork and movies of the duo subjecting Mohbad to relentless bullying for leaving the report label surfaced on social media.
