Illegal Adoption: Founder of indicted orphanage handed over to NAPTIP in Anambra

The Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo has handed over the founder of Arrows of God Community Children’s Home, Nkwelle 33, Rev D.C Ogo to males of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Rev Ogo was discovered to have been concerned in unlawful adoption, the place she allegedly gave away kids in her orphanage properties to individuals searching for kids, in trade for cash.

Media assistant to the Commissioner, Chidinma Ikeanyionwu quoted Ogo in a press assertion as blaming her secretary, whose identify she gave as Mr Monday, who dealt with the adoption processes.

She stated it took her two months to resurface after the sealing of her orphanage as a result of she had been sick and couldn’t honour the summon by the ministry.
