In a recent interview, popular Nollywood actress Ronke Ojo, also known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, shared some candid details about her personal life. The talented actress revealed that she had been in a relationship with her ex-husband for a staggering ten years before they decided to tie the knot.
Shockingly, despite their decade-long courtship, their marriage didn’t even make it to the one-year mark. Ojo explained that although her ex-husband was a “nice person,” he simply didn’t possess the qualities necessary to be a good husband.
In 2012, Ojo and her ex-husband went their separate ways, but the following year, she found herself back with him due to an unexpected pregnancy. However, she made the difficult decision to leave again after discovering his infidelity.
“We dated for almost a decade, and during that time, he was constantly involved with other women. Sadly, our marriage was equally tumultuous, lasting less than a year. That’s how bad it was,” Ojo shared.
Aside from the issue of infidelity, Ojo also mentioned that her ex-husband had a habit of nagging excessively. She emphasized that there is a stark difference between a man who lacks financial stability and a man who doesn’t show care and consideration within a relationship.
