In a move to enhance the knowledge and skills of coaches in the Nigeria National League (NNL), the league’s governing body has selected renowned football personalities, Peter Rufai, Austin Eguavoen, and other experienced football mentors as resource persons for an upcoming coaches seminar.

Alongside Rufai and Eguavoen, the seminar will feature Portuguese UEFA licensed coach, Tiago Conde, former international player, Clement Temile, and the Director General of the Nigeria Institute for Sports, Prof Olawale Moronkola, as resource persons for the refresher course.

The NNL stated that the selection of these experienced individuals is aimed at equipping coaches with the fundamental principles and techniques of coaching.

The coaching seminar will be held at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The four-day training program is scheduled to commence from 15th to 19th October, 2023.

All coaches in the NNL are expected to actively participate in this refresher course.

Participants who successfully complete the training will be awarded the prestigious NIS certificate.
