Nasarawa Assembly confirms Abubakar Akum commissioner

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) has formally confirmed Abubakar Odah Akum as commissioner and member of the State Executive Council (SEC), representing the Nasarawa Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe, Speaker of the House, made the announcement in the course of the plenary session on Wednesday in Lafia.

Media Talk Africa reported that the home had requested Akum to submit 30 copies of his curriculum vitae (CV) earlier than the shut of labor on October 10 and to seem earlier than the home for screening on October 11.

“We hereby confirm the nomination of Hon Abubakar Odah Akum as commissioner and member of the State Executive Council,” Balarabe stated.

Governor Sule had nominated Akum to fill the place of commissioner to exchange Ahmed Aliyu Tijani, who was appointed the Federal Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) by President Tinubu.
