President Bola Tinubu says the South East geopolitical zone of Nigeria stays essential to the expansion and growth of the nation.

The President, who said this in Owerri, Imo State on Wednesday, through the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship marketing campaign in Imo State, hailed the infrastructural growth embarked upon by the State Governor, Hope Uzodimma.
The governorship ballot in Imo State is billed to carry on November 11, 2023, alongside different low season polls in Bayelsa and Kogi States.
Second time period bid

“You should all go out and re-elect our Governor for another term of four years for him to complete his noble objectives for the people of Imo State.
“I want to assure you that the President is solidly, 1,000 percent, behind Governor Hope Uzodimma. He holds him in the highest esteem,” stated VP Shettima on behalf of President Tinubu.
Earlier on arrival, Vice President Shettima was obtained by the Imo State Governor, and was hosted to a reception by the state conventional rulers led by Eze E. C. OKeke.
