Glen Johnson: Former Chelsea Defender Backs Armando Broja to Shine

Former Chelsea defender, Glen Johnson, has expressed his belief that forward Armando Broja has the potential to become a top player for the Blues. Speaking amidst rumors of a possible January move to Inter Milan, Johnson urged Chelsea to remain calm and composed while retaining their talented young star.

Broja, who progressed through Chelsea’s esteemed academy, recently stepped into the starting lineup of manager Mauricio Pochettino after Senegalese star Nicolas Jackson’s suspension. Despite his recent return from a lengthy injury, the Albanian international showcased his prowess by netting a goal in a convincing 2-0 victory over Fulham.

“I firmly believe that Broja has what it takes to reach the pinnacle of his game at Chelsea,” Johnson expressed to Betfred. “With his youth on his side, exceptional technical ability, and composed demeanor in front of the goal, he possesses the qualities required of a top-tier striker.

“While he has yet to fully realize his potential, his age and undeniable talent make him a valuable asset for Chelsea. It’s a superior alternative to splurging on a high-priced signing.”
