Portugal’s captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, expressed his joy after leading his team to qualify for Euro 2024. Ronaldo showcased his brilliance by scoring twice in Portugal’s 3-2 victory over Slovakia in Friday’s Euro 2024 qualifier, which took place at the famous Dragao stadium in Porto.
In an Instagram post, Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al-Nassr, exclaimed, “We’re heading to EURO 2024! I am thrilled to have contributed to Portugal’s qualification for another illustrious tournament. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Portuguese Football Federation and the passionate fans at the stadium for their fantastic tribute!”
Notably, Goncalo Ramos also found the back of the net for Portugal during the match against Slovakia. With Portugal’s qualification, they now join the host nation Germany, as well as France and Belgium, as the latest teams to secure a spot in the highly anticipated competition.
