Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, paid tribute to his beloved secondary school teacher, Chief T.N. Ezenwaka, as he celebrated his 90th birthday on Sunday.

Soludo commemorated the occasion by attending a special Catholic mass held in Ezenwaka’s honor, acknowledging the profound impact his teacher had on his personal and societal growth.

A Life Well-Lived Celebrated in the Presence of Prominent Figures

The momentous mass took place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Uga, Aguata Council Area. The service was officiated by none other than the esteemed Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Peter Ebere Cardinal Okpalaeke—who also happened to be a former student of the venerable celebrant.

Inspiring Words from a Grateful Pupil

Reflecting on their cherished teacher, Soludo expressed his gratitude, saying, “T.N, as you are affectionately known, we have gathered here to pay tribute to you on your remarkable milestone of turning 90. You have nurtured countless individuals, including myself and Cardinal Okpalaeke.”

“Your past students are leaving an indelible mark across the globe. As a remarkable and influential teacher, you have made an everlasting impression on me and many others. Your dedication to fostering education and your outstanding service as a teacher have earned you both admiration and respect from your students,” Soludo added.

A Reunion of Past Students

Joining Soludo to celebrate Chief Ezenwaka’s milestone were former students from all walks of life, eager to express their gratitude and present heartfelt gifts.

At Uga Boys Secondary School in Aguata, Anambra State, Chief Ezenwaka served as Soludo’s dedicated Government teacher during his time in Class 5. The enduring impact of his teachings on the future governor’s trajectory is immeasurable.
