Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of Hamidu M. Alhaji as Acting Head of Service.
The approval for the appointment was made known by Governor Buni’s Media, Mamman Mohammed, in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday.
According to the statement, Hamidu M. Alhaji was appointed as acting Head of Service following the disengagement of the former Head of Service, Alhaji Garba Bilal, last week.
“His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has also approved the appointment of
Mohammed Alkali Dingiri, as Accountant General of the State.
“Until his appointment, Mohammed Alkali Dingiri was the Director of Treasury,” the statement added.
Governor Buni, in the statement, also approved the appointments of Musa Audu Farafara as Permanent Secretary and Bulama Garba as Director of Treasury of the state.
It said the appointments are with immediate effect.
