Renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has divulged that Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been questioned by the Police.

On 12 September 2023, Mohbad died under controversial circumstances, as reported by Media Talk Africa.

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended several individuals, including Feosoya Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad before his demise, as well as Sam Larry, Naira Marley, and Primeboy, in connection with the case, as part of their investigation into Mohbad’s death.

Despite this, Nigerians have continued to demand the interrogation of the deceased singer’s wife, asserting that she may possess crucial information that could aid in the ongoing investigations.

Addressing the public’s plea for Omowunmi’s questioning, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to state that Mohbad’s wife has undergone three separate interrogations.

“To the best of my knowledge, Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated three times. Two of the three times occurred on the day when Mohbad’s father was televised addressing the public about his son’s case,” Iyabo Ojo explained.

“On that very same day, Mohbad’s father, mother, and wife were taken to Panti for questioning and to give their statements. Another occasion when Mohbad’s wife was interrogated was on the 21st of September, which is why Tonto Dike and Senator Ishaku Abbo met her absence,” she added.

In addition, Iyabo Ojo also touched upon the CCTV camera installed at Mohbad’s residence, clarifying that it was never connected or used.

“Please be aware that the CCTV camera in Mohbad’s house was never installed or linked. It does not have a BVR or hard disk,” Iyabo Ojo clarified.
