Nasarawa United appoint Usman Adams as Head Coach, aiming for promotion to Nigeria Premier Football League

In an exciting turn of events, Nasarawa United, the esteemed Nigeria National League side, has officially unveiled Usman Adams as their new Head Coach. This comes as Bala Nikyu resigned from the position during the previous season, leaving room for a fresh face to take charge.

The formal introduction and presentation of Adams to the media took place amidst great anticipation and enthusiasm at the renowned Lafia City Stadium on a memorable Wednesday.

Adams, who has now assumed the pivotal role, bears the weighty responsibility of guiding the club back to the illustrious Nigeria Premier Football League in the upcoming season.

“My primary objective is to restore Nasarawa United to its rightful place among the Premier League elites. This endeavor entails not only honing and refining the skills of our players for optimum performance, but also fostering a sense of unity and collective effort,” Adams articulated earnestly during the press conference held in Lafia.

He further asserted, “Together with my esteemed technical crew, we shall form an indomitable team, capable of withstanding any challenge, and accomplish the task entrusted to us. Furthermore, we aim to reignite the hopes and dreams of the devoted supporters and fans of the Solid Miners.”

Expressing his gratitude, he added, “I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Management and Government of Nasarawa State for deeming me worthy of fulfilling this crucial mandate.”

The upcoming 2023-24 NNL campaign will kick off for Nasarawa United when they face Jedo FC on the highly anticipated date of October 28.
