Gov Uba Sani approves N3.1bn for payment of gratuity, death benefits

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has accredited the discharge of N3.1 billion for the payment of gratuity to retirees and death benefits for households of the deceased below the Defined Benefit Scheme and the Contributory Pension Scheme.

This was contained in an announcement by Muhammad Lawal Shehu, Chief Press Secretary to the governor.

It mentioned Governor Sani remained dedicated in making certain that upon retirement, staff who’ve served the State diligently have full entry to what’s rightfully theirs.

The assertion additional added that the state authorities, by way of the State Pension Bureau, is resolute in making certain the continuity of the discharge of these funds for gratuity and death benefits to beneficiaries within the state.

“The release of these funds will aid in ameliorating the ripple effects of current economic realities, especially for the elderly who have retired from active service.

“The full list and details of beneficiaries will be released by the State Pension Bureau in the coming days,” the assertion added.
