A senior traditional title holder in Zazzau, Magajin Garin Zazzau Nuhu Bamalli, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday at the age of 53.

Bamalli, who held the esteemed position of Magajin Garin Zazzau and was the younger brother of the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamalli, breathed his last breath in a Lagos hospital after a short battle with illness.

Throughout his illustrious career, he served as the head of chancery at the Nigerian Embassy in Morocco, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment to his diplomatic duties. At the time of his passing, he was also serving as the acting ambassador.

He is survived by his beloved wife, two children, and a host of relatives who are mourning his loss.
