The recent attacks in Karim-Lamido local government areas of Taraba State have left a trail of devastation and sorrow in their wake. The attacks, which occurred earlier this week in the peaceful community of Didango, have left several individuals nursing various degrees of injuries. Tragically, two lives were lost in the attacks, suspected to have been carried out by ethnic militias.
Shuaibu is not content with simply providing financial support; he is also using his platform to appeal to the warring ethnic militias to lay down their weapons and embrace peace. Shuaibu personally visited the victims who are currently receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Jalingo. This unscheduled visit not only demonstrated his genuine concern for their well-being, but it also provided an opportunity for the victims and their relatives to express their joy and gratitude upon learning of the lawmaker’s commitment to covering their medical expenses.
The generous gesture of Anas Shuaibu will alleviate the physical and financial burdens faced by the victims of this recent spate of violence.
