The head coach of the Nigerian U-20 women’s national team, Christopher Danjuma, has announced a list of 30 players who will represent the country in their upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Tanzania.
The Falconets secured their place in the third round of qualifiers after Mauritius withdrew from the competition.
The first leg of the match will be held in Tanzania between the 10th and 12th of November, while the reverse fixture will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja between the 17th and 19th of November.
All invited players are required to report to Chida Hotel in Utako, Abuja on Sunday, the 22nd of October.
The 2024 U-20 Women’s World Cup will be hosted by Colombia and will feature an expanded tournament format, with 24 teams participating.
