Renowned figures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have arrived at the Supreme Court in anticipation of the momentous hearing concerning the appeals lodged by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, both challenging President Bola Tinubu’s resounding victory.
Distinguished dignitaries present at the court include Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to Tinubu; Abdullahi Ganduje, the APC National Chairman; and Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA), amongst other illustrious personalities.
Atiku is determinedly contesting the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), which recently upheld Tinubu’s triumph in the groundbreaking February 25th presidential election.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court is set to review petitions presented by Obi and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), both challenging the ruling of the PEPC.
The esteemed panel of Justices overseeing these crucial appeals is headed by none other than the venerable Justice Inyang Okorowo.
