Katsina State Government, on Monday, mentioned it has concluded plans to introduce particular allowances to Friday Mosques clerics, their deputies, Mua’dhins (callers of prayer) and Ward Heads to encourage them within the struggle towards insecurity.
The state governor, Dikko Radda, who revealed this after inaugurating the Steering Committees for the Katsina Community Watch Corps, KCSWC, nonetheless, didn’t point out Christian clerics within the deliberate allowance.

In their separate remarks, representatives of the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Aminu Nuhu-Abdulkadir and retired Justice Saddik Abdullahi-Mahuta recommended the governor for taking steps to sort out insecurity within the state.
Nuhu-Abdulkadir, who’s the District Head of Rimi and Abdullahi-Mahuta, the District Head of Malumfashi, respectively, pledged continued assist of the standard rulers to the committee.
