Chukwuma Soludo Urges Newly Sworn-in Commissioner to Embrace Innovative Thinking

In a bid to enhance the efficient delivery of special duties in Anambra State, Governor Prof Chukwuma Soludo has welcomed Hon Mrs. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche as the newly sworn-in Commissioner for Special Duties. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Anambra State Government House in Awka.

Hon Mrs. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche assumes office, taking over from Hon Sly Ezeokenwa, who was previously appointed by Governor Soludo and later emerged as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) through election.

Addressing the newly sworn-in Commissioner, Governor Soludo stressed the importance of thinking outside the box, urging her to demonstrate proactive and innovative thinking in order to fulfill the promises made to the people of Anambra State.

Soludo expressed, “As you take this solemn oath of office and allegiance, I must remind you of the great expectations that accompany your role. The people of Anambra have entrusted you with the responsibility of ensuring the efficient and effective execution of special duties.”

The Governor further emphasized the demanding nature of the role, requiring qualities such as out-of-the-box thinking, empathy, and the ability to establish positive relationships with all stakeholders. Soludo commended the newly sworn-in Commissioner, stating that she possesses these qualities and more, making her well-suited for the job.

“I want to emphasize that you are joining a team that is dedicated to transforming our state and improving the lives of our citizens. You have my unwavering support, and I am confident that you will discharge your duties with utmost diligence and integrity. I wish you the very best as you embark on this challenging journey. Once again, congratulations, Madam Commissioner,” concluded Governor Soludo.
