Prince Tonye Princewill, the chairman of the CWC and the only biological child of the late King, provided an overview of the progress made so far and the tasks yet to be completed during his speech. The key points of the meeting included the inauguration of the budget screening committee, the review of the draft programme of activities, and the monitoring committee.
In the early hours of the day, Prince Tonye, accompanied by Opunabo Inko-tariah, paid a visit to the Amanyanabo of Bakana, another direct descendant of the Amachree stool. During the visit, the Amanyanabo assured the duo of the Bakana people’s full participation in the burial of “our father and king.” He expressed gratitude to Prince Tonye for the visit.
